Two Cents : Of Dreams,Elaborated Effort and Value

Bismillah-hirrahman-nirrahim

I just don't know what to write, it feels that i have to write something and this is just only something that passed through my mind, i have no intention whatsoever to educate in any ways, im not in my place to do so because im no near than success compared to everyone else, but it's just a little of my sharing, that's all :)

Have you ever been engrossed with something, work on something and very dedicated to make it happen,  just to prove to everybody or at least,to yourself you can do at least ONE thing, crucial to you, until it's done?

Everybody has their own dreams, a steady career, to be rich, perfect health, beautiful wife/handsome husband, loving family, caring & cheerful friends, a superbike, dream car, a house and from the most minuscule to the most impossible dream that you can imagine and hope for. But that's why we called it dreams, that bears no logic in it, but we are very much clinging to it.

As people said, self-satisfaction knows no boundaries

Dreams

When you are onto something, people would be 'voluntarily' giving you remarks that either brings you down or lift you up, but don't worry, either way it is good for you. Take the bad one as a motivation for you to push further and the good one as du'aa :)

For example, I have this weight issue since as long as i can remember, and it is not easy coping with my plus size body because i am limited to what apparel i should wear and have, and since most of nice,up-to-date shirts and pants were not in my size range, i end up with 3 to 4 years good old jeans and shirts,yeah...good old jeans......pfftttt

And so, the urge to change finally came to and this is a few standard 'procedure' when you want to change, people will give unwanted or unnecessary remarks, and this is just in general

"Uiyoo lepasni kurus la kau...hehehe"
"Xpayah nak kurus pun xpe, janji kau sihat"
"Kau nak taubat ke?? HAHAHAH"
"Ala muda lagi,enjoy dulu"
"Kau diet ke? HAHAHA"
"Ala makan je la, nak diet-diet ni buat apa, you're missing out man"

and the list just went on and on, but you should done nothing rather than prove to them you can do it, and as you know, people will just shut themselves up when you DO make it through, that's what I do

So,what actually make not just only me, but billion others have the desire to change? What triggers them? What makes them so dedicated and so focus that they actually work on it and actually succeed?

DREAMS

Momentary Momentum

Ever heard of 'Law Of Attraction'? basically this is how it works

You --> Need/Want --> You work for it (Effort) --> Success (Value)

Whatever you dream of, can actually be achieved but first, it requires your willingness of how much you want it, thus it will mobilize you physically to work for it. But there's a catch to it, positivity, consistency, persistent,  and elaborated effort needed to be done

                            Positivity <---> Positive Outcome
                                                                (vice versa)

The Law Of Attraction suggested that if you are positive in whatever you work on, always on the eager side of wanting to do it, then you will attract the positive outcome from your effort, and that just not it, as a Muslim, we are taught to leave everything to Allah (Tawakkal) after our long course of 'war' to make it through of what we actually dream of

And then come the elaborative efforts. As we know whatever we do to achieve something is actually already an efforts but what makes it elaborated? An effort is just a simple task to do when you are on your way to achieved something, but even eating is considered an effort,so for me an effort is just a fundamental thing

but an elaborated effort is an effort that has been extensively done and elaborately think of, thoroughly

You see, when we decide on something, firm on your decision, the basic thing you need to do is work for it and du'aa, now du'aa is often considered as a simple thing, but du'aa is actually your elaborated effort, when you work for it, it is 50% of your effort and when you make your du'aa, pray, it will happen. You just have to make sure you have the consistency and be persistent, not to do it half-way

When you decide, Allah will give you the way, and when you work for it, Allah will give you the sustenance

There's a behavior thing called Three-Day Monk Syndrome according to the Japanese, which is when we got obsessed with something for a short period of time, pour ourselves into it and eventually the obsession will wither in a week or so, and then the new obsession comes along. We just make it a loop for ourselves without a consistency and that momentary momentum would just ruin the effort

Your efforts will define your value, and your value will shape your future

Exemplary Value

What defines you?

Every effort counts, and thus your value will show. Dont let the negative remarks put you down, that way you will let others define you. You define yourself, you decide on your value, not others. Take as many values as much as you can along the way, but show only the best and the exemplary one, for the non-exemplary ones, let it subside within you, for you to take it as a reminder, serves as a demarcation for you.

Whatever you do, be persistent and consistent in your effort, elaborate it further, create and define your value and not forgetting pray to Allah, ask Allah anything you would like, and InsyaAllah He will never let His servants down

And you will succeed

Because at the end of the day, all of our efforts, sweat, blood and tears, sustenance, our life, our everything, came from Allah and to Allah everything shall return

Till then,

Assalamualaikum :)
